Made for Adventure

I kept a blog when I studied abroad - a place for my pictures, my memories, my experiences. It was not necessarily written to be shared with anyone, but it gave me some place to organize my thoughts, and I think a few people enjoyed it along the way too (most especially Grandmama). I have quickly learned that the spirit of adventure that took me some 4000+ miles from home to live on my own for a semester in a country where I knew no one and didn't speak the language is still strong within me. My adventures aren't taking me to quite as exotic places right now. Today my adventures look more like finishing up my list of all 50 states, getting into trouble with my crossfit family, trying out new things in my kitchen, and making my training plan for my next race. Nonetheless, I want to record these adventures and capture these memories. One day, when my memory is not as sharp, I want to be able to look back at this time and remember what I rich life I've been blessed with. I believe God created me for adventure, and I cannot wait to see his plans unfold with each passing day. So whether it's tri gear I'm trying out, my favorite running routes, DIY home improvement, recipes that didn't taste horrible, memories from times with my family and friends, or the latest thing God is teaching me - here goes....
